My Legal Background & Education
Back when lawyers had to use carbon paper to copy contracts and legal briefs, my grandfather had his own practice. With strong family ties to the legal profession, my interest in law was sparked from a young age. I pursued an undergraduate degree in political science at DePauw University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1977. With a growing interest in becoming an attorney, I went to Temple University School of Law soon after and obtained my law degree in 1980.
After law school, I worked for a local firm for a couple of years, gaining experience in the areas of law which I practice today. After two years as an associate attorney, I felt ready and compelled to open my own practice and be in charge of the direction my career was taking. By 1985, the Law Offices of Douglas B. Price, P.C. was open and ready for business.

To have more personal relationships with clients, I believed that founding my firm would be essential to establishing stronger client-attorney relations. Instead of being assigned to me, clients could now have the opportunity to hire me for my personality, my approach, and my strategies for tackling their complex legal situations.
